If I have any issue, it's the lack of movement range, and the fact that by the time you get one you're usually strong enough not to need it. We're talking about positive buffs out the wazoo, immunity to most if not all debuffs, and the ability to wreck Wiegraf's shit head-to-head without breaking a sweat or using any gimmicks beyond being a badass. I will say this in their favor: A decked-out level 8 Onion Knight hits like a speeding truck, if literally every part of that speeding truck was made of other speeding trucks. In Android/iOS, the multiplayer gear is made available after beating the game once (except Genji gear, apparently).
"But they get gear".sure.but from what I've read their gear is multiplayer only. Luck with monster-breeding RNG can make for easy levels and gains, but otherwise it's horribly inefficient Good for those munchkins that absolutely have to have the best. I never invested the time into them but.yeah, that was my conclusion from running the numbers.
